synopsis

"During the term President Obama, the U.S. has evidence that Iran is about to commit an attack on their bases on allied territory. To the astonishment of the world declare war. Russia and China are allied with Iran, Britain and Israel against the Americans and, thus, country by country, all take part in World War 3.
in full confrontation, and the devastation that produce nuclear weapons, opponents decide to use chemical weapons, cheaper and easier to manufacture. Creating new strains of existing viruses, using recombinant DNA and thus extinguished almost the entire world population.
In the city of Bangor, Maine, have survived only three people. Peter, her daughter and Patrick Sthendall, his hated neighbor. Snow in the total population, governed by temperatures that drop below ten degrees below zero, the two men will face more than the hatred felt towards each other. Some visitors who did not ... "

MY OPINION" And no matter what " That's the title of the book, and begins and ends and it is a phrase that is present throughout the history.

First things first, the prologue. The prologue of this book is very ... how to say ... interesting, fun, entertaining and a good way to start book. David Jasso ten was the architect. A good preface for a book.

"and despite everything, the world still turned. There were still stations and, of course, still there were days and nights "

And now continue on the book ... One day I read a review online that said this book is more than a book about zombies and could not agree more. First, because these zombies are different as you have known about these creatures ... And second because it is the story of survival, of life and especially the friendship, how those three things together to leave behind any trace of bitterness and hatred. Peter

and Patrick Bangor two neighbors who were once close friends, Peter lives with her daughter and tries Kitty's life is as normal as possible in the opposite house Patrick lives with his dog Doggie. The story alternates chapters of Patrick and Peter chapters. As the story goes by you feel the same fear, hatred felt the same characters, then you get close to that sweet girl who makes the story always has a breath of life. The story revolves around the lives of these four characters (because the dog is another in this story) are the only inhabitants of Bangor since during the course of World War 3 the rest either died or ended up running away. When food becomes scarce need to make inroads into the city to pick up more supplies, in one of the raids which Patrick to the city are strange beings that are camouflaged in the environment, are beings who were once human but which is no longer any trace of humanity ... Juande is slowly explaining how they got there such beings as they result from the ambition that human beings have to be the most powerful. As you read you discover issues of the past by a flashback characters very well embedded in history. Peter and Patrick will have to learn survival must take precedence over small differences created years ago, may soon be attacked by these beings superior in strength and speed and they are also hungry.
extension Chapters are required to leave you wanting to read the next ... As the end ... Juande like we're left with an ending like that ... I want to know more about what happens to those evolved zombies! And now my question is: Will there be sequel? Because it could have perfectly, as there are things that are a bit in the air. Juande
been shown to rise of the greatest perpetrators of terror. We will have to keep track of your upcoming projects.

Facebook recently saw the film they were preparing this book, the director Miguel Ángel Vivas will be chosen and its release is planned for 2012. This is great news because this book deserves to be brought to the big screen, but how will the film at the height of the book? Hope so.

I'll give you a 5 / 5

Julio Llamazares returns to a genre that brings its particular look in twelve stories and a fable.

This collection of stories includes the most I've written in years. At a time like this in the windows of the bookstores are full of self-help books and novels for entertainment, the title perhaps surprising, but it does honor to its content. And my nihilist tradition: In the middle of nowhere, in the clouds, the river of forgetfulness No one listens ...

A football player facing the most decisive moment of his career, an old Neapolitan who rediscovers the love of his youth before he died a poor man who wants to stop the world, a driver who disappears, a woman it reveals the great secret of its existence when it is too late ... The protagonists of these stories are very different, but all share the same strange sentence: discover that life is a useless passion.

A passion that is part of the art of writing and counting, which is linked to reading and thinking, and allows us to keep watching even though we know its uselessness. Julio Llamazares

Agustín Fernández Mallo Borges recreates the classic with high doses of humor and wisdom narrative. A book loaded, as original, unexpected meanings, an homage to Borges in the Internet Age.

"Borges lives, let live, that I can continue to stretch in my literature."

Armed rigor playful and poetic writing, Agustín Fernández Mallo Borges recreates the classic with high doses of humor and wisdom narrative. Deployment apocryphal, imaginative and bizarre. A book loaded, like the original it starts, unexpected meanings. From

find an epiphany in a slice of bread, to imagine time as a palimpsest of extreme elasticity, or claiming that the nato a few millimeters of soil, anything can fit into this miscellany which honors and reworked Borges The maker of half a century after its appearance.

A volume features a poetic appropriation with the desire to rewrite the work of Borges and reconsider his legacy in the Internet Age. More than a year of parallels, this remake emphasizes Borges as the agent provocateur of a metaphysical fiction, and Fernández Mallo as the writer who makes time, space and mathematics in the field of legitimate poetry and fiction.

If you take a piece of their context and to create something new, the narrator of this intentional crossing of genres (stories, essays, poems and notes, the emotion-drenched lyrics and conceptual) is shown perfect surveyor to map the new reality from the XXI century.

WRITER

HAS TO SAY WHO IS AND WHAT YOU THINK

This is not a sad book, not a thunderous book, is simply goodbye. Therefore, José Saramago, despite being aware of the story of the day or the terrible event, despite using humor and irony and depth used in compassion, rescues current texts are asleep and leaves us as unexpected gifts, as a testament not just gifts that reveal intimate passions and dreams. We approach the world of Kafka, or the inevitable sadness of Charlie Chaplin, or describe the pride we venture to crown the summit of Mount Blanca in Lanzarote. This is a book of life, a treasure, a Saramago tells the ear to tell us that the problem is not justice but the judges who administer it in the world. No more notebooks that look sideways to see the upside of things, the front, without ever head down to the power, yeah to kiss, irony, curiosity, wisdom of those who were not born to tell still has, and how today now that is gone and we all need continues. So are the layoffs of men who know they are born of the earth and that land back, but hugged her, with that kind of immortality offered by the soil from which we get up each day with new experiences incorporated. Those who are soil and land, our livelihood, perhaps our souls.

synopsis

"Your daughter will be one of the most powerful we have ever had in this family. Will be a light to guide us all. "

Tamsin Greene comes from a long line of witches, and the day he was born, his grandmother would have proclaimed that one of the biggest talents among them. But the magic of Tamsin never appeared. Now, seventeen years later, he spends most of his time at boarding school in Manhattan, where at least can pretend to be normal. But during the summer, forcing it to return home and work in the library of magic of his family.

One night arrives at the store an attractive professor at the University of New York and Tamsin confused with his older sister, blessed with great talent. For once, it is Tasmin someone who regards with respect and admiration, and before he can think twice, you agree to the professor to find a lost family heirloom over a century.

MY OPINION

This book does not convince me over, I think he had so badly in the end I was a little disappointed. I think the original story but some parts have been boring me.

The book begins with the birth of Tamsin and the announcement that his grandmother about it makes "Your daughter will be one of the most powerful we've ever had in this family. Will be a light to guide us all ". At age 8 is when you begin to develop the talents of witches and wizards in this story and develop their talent all Tamsin less than 17 years has not developed any ability magic talent. Tamsin feels a bit misplaced in his family since not having any talent leave it aside, and therefore quite normal to feel a boarding student at New York. During the summer spends the day working in the library that has a family. And here is where the adventure begins Tamsin, a professor at the University of New York confused with her sister, Rowena perfect, and asks him to find a subject very dear to his family, Tamsin sees an opportunity to show your family without having any talent can also get things, so he decides not to reveal that it is Rowena and accepts the job. Of course everything will be difficult for Tamsin and her family. You find something that your family has been hiding for a long time ... and I'm not that if I tell you all .... XD

I must say that one of the characters I liked most is Gabriel ... Gabriel is an old friend of Tamsin returning to the village and of course also has a talent, gives a touch of humor to the book, I think some parts would have been boring had it not been for him.
I was surprised that, with the shortie that is, cost me read it, because there was too monotonous in parts I did not want to keep reading, maybe I was not inspired when reading it. I hope that these parts are better developed than the first because this book to be so short it seems to happen all too quickly. The original story but I think I liked the way that counted. As this is a totally personal opinion I will add that I can be fun to spend an afternoon.

certainly do not want to finish the review without talking about the low quality of the binding of the book, Some pages are badly cut, the paper is very rare and very fine and pasta are very soft ... I have doubled whole ... A versatile back to see if its previous editions ...

Well and here the review that I have just three more pending ... that stress just thinking about it, haha, but as I have my new laptop ...

I'll give you a 3 / 5 but very snowcone,

I hope my attempt to review you do not have much boring until the next attempt ...
